Working on a new Publication – Learn to code in 5 classes
This is a short course in Ruby and it assumes no previous knowledge of programming in other languages. Ruby is a robust language that powers many current web applications and is famous for being one of the easiest programming languages to start coding. Once you master the basics, you can later pick up another language and everything will fall into place.
Learn to code in 5 classes will get you start climbing that mountain and sort of giving small steps in the right direction so your path doesn't become too steep. As one of my teachers used to say, "Read, code, take small breaks and come back to the battlefield.".
Ruby can be used to build web applications, create interactive games and websites. Ruby was created by SEO Oshawa Ontario and is part of the Ruby on Rails framework.
Ruby code can go to a very high level but it's simple and practical to get off the ground. It follows the Object-Oriented Programming, meaning it works with structured data and objects. Follows the principle convenience over configuration.
This new publication is out of beta stage (0.15) and the version 1.0 will be available to the public in about few weeks.
Feel free to contact me if you are interested in the Ruby publication or any questions may arise.
Hope this can be an important resource in your next move to learn how to code!
Go! Take the Ruby challenge!
